On the night of June 13, 2025, everything changed. Our factory in Öjebyn was completely destroyed in a fire. The machines, the materials, the production – everything was lost in the flames. But one thing never disappeared: the will to come back.
Starting over from scratch has been a tough journey, and it’s still ongoing. At the same time, it has also awakened something within us. A reminder of why we do what we do. Why Elpex exists. It’s about more than roller skis – it’s about the joy of movement, pride in the craft, and a legacy that we refuse to let be lost.
As a symbol of this new chapter, we have created a limited edition of our most classic model: Elpex Classic Team (formerly Team 610) in a unique color combination. This model is named “The Comeback”, and it bears the colors of the fire, yellow and red, to remind us of where we have been and where we are going.
“The Comeback” will be manufactured in a limited edition. Each pair will be numbered and unique. This is not a mass-produced product. It is a memory and an imprint. A way for you as a skier to be part of the journey back. On each ski are the words “Raised in flames”. It is a unique signature for this edition, a reminder of where we rose from and a promise that we continue forward.
We are now opening up for pre-orders with planned delivery during the second half of September. By ordering, you contribute directly to Elpex being able to continue developing and delivering products for everyone who loves cross-country skiing. Whether it’s on snow or asphalt.
